Stayed in Florence for a few nights and wandered in here based on reviews, but they don't do the food justice. Fantastic wine choices but a more limited food menu, what you want in a place like this. Have the cheese and truffle fondue, it's just brilliant and I want the recipe. We also had a steak, 1.5KG of beauty. Another table had ordered steaks (we didn't know) and the smell was so amazing if we hadn't ordered we would have changed our order. Get the side salad and potatoes and an amazing bottle and just enjoy. Our friends never had cantuccini and vin Santo. Here the science of baking is displayed in their biscuits, we loved them. Other deserts were also well worth it and a tribute to the pastry chef. Want to go back again. Thank you folks it was brilliant

The beef fillet with roasted potatoes and the sirloin steak with pecorino cream and truffle were both outstanding! Even the fried zucchini was surprisingly delicious. The waitress was incredibly sweet—she offered me a complimentary digestif and helped pack up my leftovers. A top-notch place I wholeheartedly recommend!

Really delicious food. We started with a melted cheese with truffle, very smooth and delicious. Then we got 1Kg of the ribeye steak. It was marvelous, medium rare, and tasted fresh, healthy and delicious. For desert we got a lemon curd which I did not like, very bitter and tasted like fish If you are going for the steak get ready to spend 50 per person.

Best Limoncello we had on the trip was here. The stake that I had was incredible and the gnocchi was also delicious. Our server was extremely nice and everything went incredible as well as having a delicious bottle of red wine with our steak. The soup wasn’t my favorite as it was lacking quite a bit of flavor and the atmosphere was a little lacking too. However, we did enjoy the meal a lot and the service was incredible as well which made up for everything the atmosphere was missing!

I visited Osteria dei Fiorentini while I was in Florence for work and staying nearby. I had not planned anything special for dinner, so I simply walked past the restaurant, checked the menu, and noticed that they had soup. That was all I wanted, without realising that they served an excellent Ribollita Toscana. I was completely unaware of the local cuisine, and as a vegetarian I did not have a great deal of choice, so this was a lovely surprise. The waiting staff were incredibly kind. I explained that I was not very hungry and might only have the soup. They were completely understanding. The bread was fresh, the soup was delicious, and they even let me take a bottle of water back to my hotel so that I did not have to go out again to buy one. I returned the next day and tried the pasta with truffle, which was excellent as well. The staff were just as warm as before. They even offered me a saffron liqueur at the end of the meal. Unfortunately, I could not really taste it because I am sensitive to alcohol, but I appreciated the gesture very much. What I loved most was the understated atmosphere. It felt genuine and unpretentious, unlike some places in central London that appear plush for no real reason. The food was wonderful, the service was friendly, and I enjoyed dining there alone. A lovely find, and a place I would happily return to.

We ate here for dinner one night during our trip to Florence and we really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and fresh (we didn't get the Florentine steak but they even bring out the cut to you before they prepare it) We had appetizers, dinner and drinks and dessert and loved it all. The service was fantastic and they helped explain any questions we had with the menu. I highly recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner!
